Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport is the largest regional airport in the Czech Republic with both regularly scheduled domestic and international services.
The Moravian Silesian region Government has been the owner of Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport since July 1, 2004. In November 2006, the airport was renamed after the composer Leos Janacek. The operator of the airport is Letiště Ostrava, a.s., a joint stock company.
