Citizens of the EU countries are allowed to travel to other EU countries and countries in the Schengen Area just with their personal ID cards.
Travellers to other countries must have a valid passport. Some countries might require passengers to have a passport which is valid for a few months after the planned return.
Children of all ages can travel by air only with their own travel documents.
